Introduction: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common in the community, including among pregnant women. This study investigates turbidity, urine pH, and direct gram as predictors of symptomatic urinary infection Methods: A total 177 women with suspected UTIs based on clinical laboratories at community health center Makassar were collected from September to December 2021. The Urine sample was assessed for gram, culture. Results: turbidity found 108 (75.5%) patients who had positive cultures PPV 94.7%. mean pH UTI 6.42 without 6.45. that grows Gram-positive bacteria showed most alkaline (mean pH=6.71) significantly less acidic than negative. In contrast, Gram-negative PH=6.30). test shows a significant association UTIs.
